Autoselect question again

This is what the autoselect gave me for the MS/EQ groudon.

The 4 gyarados with the same moveset (WFHP) and the same level (30) gives me a wonderful opportunity to investigate on the autoselect algorithm based on IVs and other factors but I am still confused.

This is the IV Distribution of my gyarados:
'Dali' 2771 CP 15/14/10 87%
'Van Gogh' 2785 CP 15/11/15 91%
'Picasso' 2772 CP 15/9/15 87%
'Banksy' 2779 CP 15/10/15 89%

Since they have the same moveset, it is not a factor (my level 37 100% has dragon moves, and was not chosen).

If I go down by total IV%, they are not in order
If I go down by CP, they are not in order
If I go down by attack stat, they are all equal
If I go down by defense stat, they are not in order
If I go down by stamina, they are not in order
If I go down by date of capture, they are not in order
If I go down by gender they make sense. The female gyarados gets picked first then the males.

Maybe female gyarados goes first? I'm out of ideas

I stopped trying to figure it out. My $hitty dragonite gets pulled before my great one, with higher CP IV and same movesets. So, I stopped trying to figure it out when my ivysaur gets pulled before my venusaurs lol...
