anyone else in Asia Pacific sick of it?
still don't know how hatches are going to work tomorrow whcih means up to 45 minutes standing around waiting for the first articuno to hatch and the rest of the world will be informed by our experience.
same as the screw ups every community day.
why can't niantic actually give us real details.would at least prevent some of this.
Or the part where we work hard to get a bonus for events like the recent one, so that when we go to bed, and the 'rest' start playing they already have access to the bonus that we earned for them.
...and for crying out loud, display event times using the universal standard that is GMT. (I am off on a complete tangent but I had to throw it in)
EDIT In the interest of fairness...of course, we could be last at everything, and then we could complain about that instead.
It has been confirmed that all tier 5 raids will be Articuno, and that eggs will start to appear 1 hour before the event (so raids start when the event does).
What's left to question is:
- will there be non-legendary raids too?
- will every gym get a raid at the start of the event that lasts 3 hours, or will they spawn normally (while the former would be cool, it's merely a player suggestion and seems incredibly unlikely)
- will there be an increased rate of raids?
As for the complaints about the rewards: we all contributed to them (although separately), and we'll all get the same from them. Should be 7*24=168 hours regardless of where you are. If you sleep 8 hours a day that's 56 hours sleeping. Just because it started while you were sleeping doesn't change that you get the same 112 waking hours of the event.
There was no announcement that it started, so I had burned a lucky egg earlier that day AND didn't use one on a raid later that day after it started... sometimes not being involved immediately is a good thing.
