Are you spending more now or earlier?

Not even a third of before. Getting a ton more bang for the buck now though

Spending way less now, incubators for 10km eggs were the way to go before but don't see a need to max out anymore mons now, most of my 3000+ dragonites, tyras, garys & rhydons are sitting in the garage gathering dust (not stardust unfortunately, lol) I spend any free coins I get now on afew raid passes. If you don't need any egg hatches for your dex, incubators are rather redundant now, the game, for better or worse is all about raiding now so nothing else warrants spending your hard earned on. I suppose the more time you have, the more you're likely to be spending on raid passes

No I'm saving my Stardust for Mewtwo

I didn't raid yesterday, so I did two today. Lugia and a Zapdos...27 rare candy, a fast TM, and a charge TM plus a Zapdos. In my opinion that is quite a bit better than a 10k hatch (have lots of Zaps)...actually did hatch a porygon on infinite incubator today. When something new comes out I'll do $5 worth the first day. Probably about the same in game. However, more gas b/c main pokestop collections are at my gold gyms and stardust calls for balls

I've been spending more recently. I spent at the beginning on incubators but then stopped spending anything when the game got stale. But when they introduced TMs and the raids, my interest and engagement went way up.

My bottom line: If I'm having fun, I don't mind at all spending some cash. If I'm bored and frustrated, I stop spending.

Definitely less, but living in a rural area where nothing spawns I do spend some $ on incense and lucky eggs. However, in town there is a nice park with 10 stops and 3 gyms on a 1 km loop trail where grinding now really pays off after the recent changes, especially gyms = stops and gold badges giving extra items. I used to have to buy pokeballs because I constantly ran out! Not anymore.

I'll probably always have to spend some gold to do the things I enjoy - 50 coins/day aren't that many - but less than I used to (and no more than I would spend on another hobby or exercise gym membership).

I never felt like I needed to spend money to do what I wanted with the game. I've only ever used limited incubators on 10km eggs, so I haven't needed to buy very many of those, and I was saving up my coins for months before raids came out, so I've been able to afford all the premium raid passes I've wanted to use with my coins from gyms. I did burn through most of my coin stash, but I still have about 20 premium passes, so I'm still doing fine without spending money. Of course, it helps that I limit myself to what I can reach by bicycle, so I've been averaging about two raids per day, but that has been plenty to get a good number of each legendary. Coins are also a little easier to get now, since the teams were so unbalanced around here, I could barely ever hold gyms at all under the old system, and got 20-30 coins most days, even when I spent hours fighting gyms.

If you state you spend nothing also state level and dust .
Ive spent between 80 - 100 total dollars on this game(all on coins sense i bike around) , level 40 , 4mil dust .

Never spent money. I play every day, and the old gym system (although stagnant) was good to me for collecting gold, but coins are starting to get scarce with all the raid passes I've been getting from the shop. (Level 36.5 sitting on 1.5M dust and a couple dozen 3k+ mons that ate the rest of the dust I used to have.)

Love how the question is have you spent more now or less? so was meant for people who have spent money but yet filled with more non spenders responding? Would bet any amount of money that at least half the people that say they have never spent money on this game or have only spent pennies are lying....selfishly loved the old gym system and was in around 20-25 everyday since release and have collected max everyday since first month whether it was 100 or 50 coins between 2 gym setups still had to spend to incubate as many eggs to make worth while...you have to hatch 2s or 5s to make space to get 10 eggs people. Some of the collections of "non spenders" crack me up...theyd never give even the best player in the world enough free coins to make major differences would just be bad business(unless cheating somehow to get collections).....of course that was until the game changed and now a new player can catch up quickly as far as useful Pokémon with one purchase of a lot of raid passes...Ninantic wanted to make sure eggs were dead before go to raids...personally I have spent less...have been pros and cons to game change...one thing is for sure....my girlfriend and I are walking a lot less, not trying out new parks as much, grinding candies at a nest as much, etc

I spend from time to time, into game-related hardware.
Niantic got 7€ of ingame-purchases (3€ to Google) in total, this was last year.

I spent a bit at the beginning of the game to level up quickly. Since level 29 I hadn't put a penny in the game. Level 37 now. No lucky egg for mass evolution, no buying incubators, no nothing. All my coins were coming from gyms. But I spent a fiver for raid passes after moltres.

So, I'd say less than at the start of the game. But more than before legendaries (although a fiver is no money really)

I spend more dust but less coins.
