Are the shiny rates of cd higher now?

For me personally it felt like it decreased for Beldum CD - I only caught 3 shinies. But someone else I was with caught 10. I put that down to luck.

I played through the whole community day (did lots of walking) and caught 13 shinies in total.. (subjectively more than in previous community days)

I don't think the rates have changed. Personally, this was my worst community day shiny-wise, as I got only 2 of them, and I caught/shiny-checked some 150-200 Beldums. Many players in my local community got 5+ shinies, one player even got as many as 14 or 15 shinies.

i had the best and worst CD in terms of shinies, only got 5 ( ussualy i got arround 10) but 2 of the where 98%

I think the shiny rate gets bumped halfway through the cd. Played whole time, 0 shinies before halfway point, 6 after. Similar pattern on chicos, no e until halfway, then over 10
