Are Niantic Cool or Jerks?
I spent money buying raid passes
I joined 5 Entei Raids
I am Instinct so I only got 7 pokeballs each time
All 5 ran
Being Instinct = FAR FEWER balls than Mystic
Example: Mystic players had 13 balls and I had 7
Do I think Niantic could change this where Instinct doesn't get screwed more than Valor or Mysitic? YES
Do I think Niantic are JERKS? Hmmmmm

It's just fair. I am Instinct myself so I know where you are coming from but calling the developers 'jerks' because we aren't on the same page as the other teams are kinda meh. The game rewards us based on the contributions and we are not the dominant team. What do you expect? If Niantic gives more rewards to the lowest performing team on a raid for example, that would undermime the reward system and that itself would be foolish. I mean... why would you aspire to be on top if I would be rewarded the same as the bottom kind of idea. We lack numbers, yes but that doesn't mean we lack talent. Here in my town Mystic obviously dominates us 5:1 ratio and there are times we beat them in damage. No offense but some of them just happen to chose blue because during the times gyms are the meta, it's easier to gain money and be safe from attacks. That or it's simply their favorite color. Nevertheless... this is one pointless argument. We are not the dominant team so just deal with it and do you job the best you can do.
I would not have joined Instinct had I known this was possible. Since Niantic knows everything about numbers there should have been something in place that would have kept it even when joining a side.
33.333333333% Mystic
33.333333333% Valor
33.333333333% Instinc
Most people did not give a crap which side they were on. I know I didnt. Many will be proud to be on one side or another after joining but, many people could have easily selected another team.
Look man... This is a game and there will always be a dominant team. Nobody forced you to choose Instinct. Just accept the face we are on the shallow end of the numbers war. Why would they put "something in place" that would keep it even when choosing the team? Why let us choose in the first place if they're simply gonna interfere? Besides... I highly see the possibility of being able to swap teams in the near future. Look at Niantics FAQ on "How to change teams" stuff. Clearly states changing team isn't possible as of now. Same reply back when they were asked if we can change our beloved mons crappy movesets.
No one told you to pick yellow. Blue is the most popular color so of course they're going to be the biggest team. Red is the second most popular color. Green is next but there is no choice for that. Yellow is used on Smiling faces/emojis;like when trying to make something funny that's not really that funny. A joke. Joke was on you picking yellow.
Google. I specifically Googled what was the most popular color. Even went as far as between Red, Blue and Yellow. Don't get mad and downvote cause the "majority" agreed as well. Numbers don't lie and it clearly shows even on a Pokemon app or else this wouldn't be bought up so many times about Team Instinct.
I am also Instinct, which is also a minority in my area.
Furthermore, I am a semi-rural player who has no Legendaries to date.
But I still enjoy the game and play it in my way. I have no regrets about choosing Instinct, and while I might be upset sometimes about the disadvantages of being a semi-rural player, I accept that these are the parameters of PoGo for me and I make the most of the opportunities available to me. (Currently level 36 and a bit, with a full pokedex (minus Unown, all non-local regionals and all Legendaries)).
7 balls seem to me that you are not making a lot of damage. How big are the groups you fight with? Are you the only Instinct there? What level are your pokemon? What's your personal damage bonus? These are a few things that you may try to improve to get more balls. You may also work through taking the gym before the raid starts, put a high level blissey in and berry feed it to keep gym bonus and get more balls.
But still, 7 balls seem too few to me. When I'm the only mystic and have no gym control I yet use to get at least 9 balls. So, double check that you are doing things right before calling someone else jerks
I like to complain at the beginning too. But Entei will be here for a month and you will catch lots of them. So take your time and relax.
I am instinct and 0/3 now for Entei. This happens to me with Moltres, zapdos and raikou before but i ended up getting three 95+ each.
But i do have a suggestion though: find instinct players to do the raid together or group fewer players for entei raid. Entei is easy to beat so you don't have to get 10+ to do it.
The truth is you only have one extra balls, which means you either have a really large group or you and your instinct team members are not strong enough to take 3 damage balls.
You could check how many instinct players there are before you use a raid pass. If there isn't enough, then skip that raid.
Or else just accept the fact that you are outnumbered and deal with it. Apart from a big raid today where we could divide into several groups, the last few raids I've done have been ones where I've been outnumbered.
A few days ago I did two raids, in both I was the only player for my team.
And guess what, I'm Mystic!
So maybe I should complain to Niantic that there isn't enough Mystic players in my area and give me extra balls?
Heck no, I take the few balls I can get (might get extra if I've taken over the gym before the raid) and use them as best I can.
