Are new gym holding icons a good idea?
I think the blue 'holding a gym' icon needs improvement. Should it be replaced with a round pokestop style gym image that you can tap to remind you which gym your pokemon are holding?

The icon colour is what ever team you are on. Blue, Red, or Yellow.
What we need is the ability to click the icon and have it show the location of the gym.
We also need to be able to click the pokemon and see how many battles its won similar to how we can see walking distance. I hate having to put a pokemon into a gym just to see if its won any battles.
It's more useful to know what gym your pokemon has just been kicked out of - I usually have planned in advance which defender will go in, and then change the name of the defender to that location (assuming it's going into what I think will be a stable gym - for high turnover, I don't bother...). So for example if I see that pkm "Miller" needs a revive, I know that I need to swing by Miller Road Park sometime soon to see about getting things back in order....
