Are HP IV important?
So I'm wondering if the HP IV are really important or not? I mean, what's the difference between 15 or 7-8, for example? Couple of pokemon HP points? Will it be relevant in raid battles? Don't care about gym defending, only raids.
As an example, I have 5 maxed out machamps, one of them is 15\14\15, and the other one is 15\14\8. I haven't noticed a big difference in their performance. What do you think? I know there are some pretty good mathematicians out there:)

You may see the 7 HP one go down in 1-2 fewer quickmoves, or might see a KO after a charged move that it might have otherwise survived. Honestly the ABSOLUTE WORST CASE your 'mon is KOed a second before it has enough energy to unleash a 1-bar chargemove.
Some people subscribe to the "high attack and HP, low DEF" school of thinking, as lower defense means more damage taken, more damage taken means more energy gained, more energy gained means more charged moves. High HP means MAYBE surviving long enough for 1 more charged move? It's been shown to be VERY situational and somewhat luck-based.
Either way, don't sweat it too much. Heck, thete might be moments where that lower HP means your mon will ve KOed right AFTER a charged move, thus raising its realative DPS. So many "what if" concepts =P
I value the stats in this order - attack, defense, HP.
I have a level 40 machamp with a 15 HP/stamina stat - 154 HP
I have a level 40 machamp with a 9 HP/stamina stat - 149 HP
(I caught this second one wild at level 35 so I maxed it out because it still had 15 attack and 14 defense).
If the lower defense causes you to miss a breakpoint, you lose 1 extra HP each quick attack you receive. I would also guess that's true for charge attacks too, though I haven't seen stats.
Often it will be the same 1 damage difference with charge attacks too.
If you dodge charge attacks, usually you will take the exact same damage regardless of your def value, which is definitely relevant for Machamps since dodging actually works in gym battles and is what you should do against DG Blissey.
