Are Gym battles over?
I stopped fighting gyms because of spoofing. My whole city has been taken over by 1 person with over 20 accounts. You start to take down any of these gyms and in a matter of 5 minutes it will be back up to level 10 with the same names. I believe there is a difference in spoofing to get mon, but this is just BS, no point to play anymore.

Yep. Spoofing is out of control. Always has been, but now it affects you personally.
I don't even bother with gyms. I just walk/hatch/grind. I hope someday the gyms are fixed, but my guess is they won't be until the game is almost dead (and there's no incentive to cheat at it).
Until then, you're just like the rest of us now.
Only 20 accounts! You lucky thing! The spoofer in my city has done much worse. I feel your pain but it's his loss. Try placing mons in gyms further away where he is not interested.
The worse thing is when you find the spoofer has put his shaving account in one of the only gyms you can control. Makes you feel sick.
