Are glass canons worth powering up for the raids?

Since DPS matters so much, is it wise to invest dust in glass cannons and start the raids with them first? (I got a legacy Gengar SC/Shadow Ball w/ high IV's & just got a PC/FS Alakazam that also has high IV's). Thanks.

Alakazam has the highest attack in the game, i plan on making a team of them... maybe a few Espeons.

With the changes to effectiveness, Gengar is vastly better than he was versus normal types. So I think it is worth it for him at least. Alakazam isn't bad either.

Those pokes would be worth it if you have the resources. However I recommend saving some stardust for legendaries and future pokes.

I've been wondering the same thing. I have a level 20 91% PC/FS Alakazam and have been trying to decide if I should spend the 75,000 stardust on it to get to 30. I already have a level 30 ZH/FS Espeon.

Have you tried using that Espeon in raids? If so, how did it do? Their stats are pretty close. It would help you decide.

I used it for the first time yesterday against a Machamp.(There were only two of us attacking.) It lasted a bit longer than I expected and did a lot of damage before fainting. Then my Exeggutors with psychic moves finished the job. But Espeon has a bit more HP than Alakazam. (At level 30, 89 for Alakazam vs 103 for Espeon.)
