App Freezing?

Yeah, have had the problem since a few days.
The app gets worse and worse. When the game first came out, i encountered hardly any problems and it ran so smoothly. Now it often lags, freezes upon start and the battery drains way faster. I wonder what they are doing at niantic all day...

It's a common bug right now. There's a list of phones it affects somewhere. Mostly samsungs I think.

My phone has been getting hot quicker than before the update and a few other small bugs I haven't seen mentioned. Hopefully they will be sorted out soon.

Startup is ok but my Iphone is crashing regularly again when tapping on a gym so it seems like the gym memory leak is back.

This was the most annoying thing ever, I purposely downgraded to the previous version so I didn't have to encounter the issue but yesterday they forced the upgrade so you had to update the app to keep playing.
