Anyone noticed change of luck recently?

Since introduction of gen 2 i havent got anything good, nor from eggs and not even single rare pokemon in wild
Anyways, now everything have changed.

First i found my first larvitar.
Then i hatched 2 dratinis and larvitar from eggs.
Yesterday i found my first rare pokemon after gen 2 release (snorlax).
Today i hatched snorlax and larvitar from eggs.

This always makes me think that Niantic controls spawn rates and egg hatches, maybe they have temporary increased chances for while???

Or is most logical explanation that: My dry season just ended and now i will be extremely lucky for moment xD

Sounds like your RNG luck is just starting to balance out.

It is a nice thought that we will all be getting extra good luck thanks to Niantic though.

I've noticed that too. It may be some lucky nest change in my neighborhood but I spotted 2 Snorlaxes on my way home<->work yesterday and today and catched one (2607 L/HB). Up until yesterday it happened only two times during 8 months of playing. A mere luck? I don't think so.
