Is anyone naming their defenders?

Is anyone but me naming their defenders?

I'm puzzled. To me this is one of the most enjoyable parts of the game. How else are we to know something about who we are fighting? Naming defenders can add so much personality to the game!

Or is this a technical issue? Are they all named and it's just only visible to the person who named them?

Help me figure it out? ^_^"

You can't see nickname as far as I know.

Only visible to the trainer. Would have a lot of obscene names otherwise:)

Yeah, you can't see nicknames that other players give their pokemon.

"Pure Bliss" for my level 33 Blissey
"Lap Dance" for my level 33 Lapras
"Snore Fest" for Snorlax
Too many to mention...

I always name my defenders. Then I know which gym I have To take back. When fainted defender come back home.

Yes, but sucks that only you can see the nicknames :-/
