Anyone know how to power up your Pokemon to level 40 using the multiple device trick?

I know there is a way to get your pokemon to level 40 even with the 3 finger trick patched out.

The bug was fixed, but it is still possible with lags.

Very nice Muk you got over there. How many devices did you use and what level was your Muk before the trick? In other words, how many levels did you increase at the same time.
