Anyone have discipline to use incubators just for 10k?

I do, and I think many if not most players.

I do - i dont get enough gym coins (30-40) to do it any other way.

Sometimes having full bag of 5k is too depressing. Though I don't put a 5k in incubators that only have 1 use left. The whole point is to walk as many 10k simultaneously as possible, and if I'm too itchy to get rid of an extra 5 and have enough coins at the moment I'd rather buy a fresh incubator for it.

I do as well, but sometimes, eggs don't drop so I tend to walk a 10km egg even in the infinite incubator if I pick up 8 10km eggs.

Most (near all) hatches are bad so it seems wasteful to me to waste blue incubators on 5km eggs now.

I also keep thinking Pokecoins will be much harder to earn after the gym rework so I am stockpiling all my coins and will only use them during sales/etc...

(Over 4000+ stockpiled now with maxed item and Pokestorage already...free player).

What I do is I'll get coins from gyms = buy an egg incubator with it. I'll use 2 out of 3 uses for the 5 KM eggs. And then I'll save the very last use for a 10 KM egg. I usually get an egg incubator every 3-4 days. Usually, I just have one 10 KM egg to hatch. I found the most success doing it this way. And obviously with the unlimited incubator, I use it on the 2 KM eggs first.

The faster you get rid of eggs = the more eggs you get = more CHANCES at a 10 KM egg.

I only used purchased incubators for 10K eggs. All other eggs get the infinite incubator.

All purchased items are from gym coin collection.

I only usually save somewhere between 3-5 10km eggs and then will hatch them all at once.

Currently this is the first time I'm saving up for a full bag (9) just to say I have done it once. I have 8 right now, just need 1 more for 9.

I will say this, I won't be doing this again. It is too inefficient for me, especially since I collect 100 coins a day. I could be hatching more eggs, getting better mons and more stardust if I had incubated the eggs earlier.

It will be cool to hatch all 9 10km at once but it isn't what is best for playing the game. Last time I will do this. Depending on how quickly 10km eggs come I think saving somewhere between 3-5 is the way to go. Also depends on your coin situation. I have more coins now than I know what to do with and I could have been using them for hatching more eggs.

As for using blue incubators I use them on 5 and 10km eggs. I will keep using them on 5km eggs.
