Anyone has the experience, is Overheat really much better than Fireblast?

Recently I evolved some fire mons, such as Flareon, Charizard, Arcanine, more than 10, all of them got Fireblast. I just want to know if Overheat is really better than FB? The difference is huge? Can I just consider as Sob & PB? Feel tired to farm then evolve... Thanks.

Someone posted on here they evolved a pretty decent 20XX CP Flareon which had Fire Spin/Overheat and put it up against a 2800-2900 CP Blissey. They said they had wonderful results being able to take down the mon, with just one time dodging the Hyper Beam.
I put it to the test since I have a 1973 CP Flareon with the same moveset. It worked better than I expected but I battled a far lower Blissey somewhere around 2400-2500 CP. I think Overheat is the top choice on Offense.

I have 2200 flareon with fire spin/overheat, tested it only once again eggy, have not noticed how great it was, coz eggy was almost dead when charge came.
I'll try against blissey.
