Anybody use battle parties to organize mons?
I usually have one or two parties for the raid I'm trying to solo and one party for gym rats to fight gyms, trash, and refill. The other two parties I've made to keep track of my high level and high iv or special mons.
First party holds mons high level, needing a TM or has legacy. Second has mons with best moves, some needing power up.
Curious if anyone else uses battle parties for purposes other than raiding.
We really need folders.. I had a defenders party, but evidently that's not what parties are for..

I dont use battle party for solo raid, but using it for group raid
I used it when time is not an issue ( like 3 trainers vs rayquaza).Another setup party is when going with many trainer. The last setup main purpose is to save revive and potion, as when raiding with a lot of trainer, personal damage will be minimal anyway so better use tankier but still decent counter to save revive...
Currently, I have battle teams for hydro pump and non hydro pump lugia, a rejoin team for lugia, a machamp team for tyranitar, and a "gyms" team which is my 4 non-community day shinies with 2 other pokemon picked depending on what's in the gym, usually machamp and raikou.
I don't use battle parties for solo raids as I'm guaranteed plenty of time to set my team. It's good to have them for group raids for those cases of having 20 seconds left in the lobby, and I highly reccomend that you make the first battle party a backup for the current legendary so that you can just swipe once to be back in the fight. Saved me a ton of time on Rayquaza.
I usually have a solo challenge in mind, so I create 2-3 parties to cover different Charge Moves (like now Gengar SB and FB), 1 or 2 for current legendary and if I have 1 to spare, then for gym assault with Machamps, Dnites, Raikou, Kyogre, Mewtwo. Not for organizing because you can’t power up or feed TMs / rare candy from that menu.
