Anybody else try Raticatte in Great League? Dude kills

I tried it, and it sucked. Not nearly enough bulk to compete with the real GL contenders, and also not super effective against anything. If you want to use a normal type with, normal type attacks, Snorlax or Munchlax with body slam work much better.

Which Raticate? Brown or black?

Fun comments aside, try Linoone. I have one I caught lv35 in the wild and it's quite good. But this is mostly because of moveset (and people i've face not even knowing linoone's moves). With shadow claw + grass knot + thunder it can surprise common whiscash/stomp and skarmory, and nothing is as satisfactory as winning a match with a Neverused. I understand your love with Raticate, but the rodent is just too one dimensional to be good

I always start out with it to see who they put out which rarely is fighting. And hyper fang is such a good move, it really surprised me how effective it.

A-Raticate is actually legit in Twilight. One of the better budget options as it gets second charge for cheap and it can threaten other dark types with STAB normals. It has performed fairly well so far.
