Viable prestiger: isn't his CP a bit too high for that? Unless you somehow only see 3000+ mons in the gyms around you.

Maybe as an anti-psychic 'commando'? It resists psychic while dealing super-effective SB hits (Disclaimer: some dodging still required)

DPS of Psycho Cut is higher than DPS of Shadow Ball, so needless to say, use only Psycho Cut. But, given this, he is still usable.

I have a similar one whom I occasionally use for prestiging. Good to have a few prestigers in the 1500 CP range.

Most of my Alakazams evolved with SB as well. I transferred all of them - and I'm a hoarder. That ought to tell you something.

Excellent spam attacker. As disappointing as it may seem, I suggest keeping all Alakazams with PC.
