Any reason to hold on larvitar from evolving now?

I got a lucky larvitar at 96iv level 17. Good to evolve to dark tyranitar and power up now?

P.S.: Got enough candies and dust and 5 tyranitars at L30 or above.

Only reason I can think of is new moves added to tyranitar's pool when gen 4 is released. But they would be "TMable" anyway.
