Any hopes that there will be new Pokemon in eggs

I hope so, but it is unlikely.

Given that Easter is the next holiday the event will most likely revolve around eggs. Crossing my fingers on new eggs / reduced distance

I don't think they will change, but I expect breeding to come on future updates (before gen3 realese for sure). The only "problem" with breeding is that you will need to get at least one of the couple and a ditto

Every day that I open an egg I thank the stars that all of those Mons are not in them. Since the rarities are by tiers, if those mons go into the two most common tiers (which they would) every one that you get could have been a Dratini or a Larvitar. If some are even moderately rare (starters maybe) every one that is opened could have been a Chansey or a Mareep. No thanks. I'm fine slow farming those mons that I will never use in the wild instead of hatching them in place of better ones.

If they would rotate other mons out of those rarity tiers then I would be happy about the addition though.

I see a ton of Teddiursa and already have a Houndoom, Chikorita (3),Feraligator and Granbull. I like seeing the starters in them wild more and have been using my Pinap berries when I see the ones you named because these are about half of the only useful Gen 2 mons. I do feel your pain though cuz these Gen 2 eggs suck.

Gen 2 starters are listed as being in 2K eggs, so those should eventually come. Maybe Niantic waiting for Easter?

When I first saw the egg list with some Pokemon missing, I personally assumed there would be a rotation at some point. There's no real reason why the likes of Phanpy and Stantler should be in eggs while Houndour and Snubbull aren't.

I feel your pain cos I've not yet seen a Houndour either, but by keeping an eye on nests I'm certain I'll catch a few eventually.
