Any helpful tips to make the IV calculator work?

A couple notes from what I've found:

1. You can't type the name of the Pokemon. You have to start to type it and then choose from the suggestion list.

2. Sometimes, you just need to reload the page.

Are you selecting your team and inputting the appraisal you get in game?
...or missing the HP value?

I know I have done both of these before

If you have powered it up, you must use the "powered up" button so it can consider half levels.

When I check the IVs for multiple mons, I often forget to update the stardust required for next powerup.

You also have to select by clicking the respective pokeball ish icon which stat is the highest based on your team leader reaction or multiple if case (atk/def and/or stamina)
