Another Dragonite question: Part 83

Are you looking for an attacker or "defender"?

• What is the current CP of both dagonite and dratini?
• The Dragonite is not an attacker but will be a good defender due to the SW builds up the charge bar quickly and DC is a 3 bar move that will hit the attacker often.
• Using a CP calculator what will be the final CP of the dratini after you fully evolve it?

Between the 2 options, I would definitely evolve the 89% Dratini. That way you see what moveset you get, and power up the best one.

Personally I would probably go for "none of the above" and try to get a higher level Dratini. A hatched is level 20, and not bad, but if you can get lucky and get a 25+ you're in much better shape because he doesn't require so much candy to power up.

SW/DC is definitely usable on attack and is tough to handle (for a Dragonite set) on defense. With 93% IV I would power that one all the way up as long as it's at least around level 20 or so. If it's lower than that, I might consider evolving the 89% Dratini.
