Animation Speed

When grinding for xp or stardust, it gets pretty painful throwing a ball and literally waiting 15-20 seconds to watch the same animation over and over again. Do you guys feel the game would be a lot more exciting if non-rare catches had sped-up animation speeds while getting rares would involve more anticipation and longer wait times?

Hilarious. It's killing me. I actually had to stop trying to get the tiny rat medal cause during my runs I might miss a snorlax. I could be way past that snorlax during the "wait wait for it" part....today's snorlax was a lick heavy slam but 15 attack IV. Add to the collection :)

and when I throw a berry I have to wait 7-8 seconds before I can throw a ball...
...that and gym network errors made the game hugely worse, THAT HAPPENED WITH THE LAST BIG APP UPDATE

This is why I love my Go Plus.

If they made a more discreet version for adults, I'd totally get one.

Some cases and covers hide the pokeball image nicely. Some are bulkier than others:

I read on Reddit that if you rubber band a quarter to the go plus button so the button stays depressed, it will "auto catch" and spin stops for you. Just need to turn it on first.

True....the whole reason I got it...still feel weird pokemoning in public places....no one can tell at all....only thing is have accidentally plused some elite mons which unfortunately don't see catching with it regardless of cp

I actually do get a speed catch sometimes, one roll and stars fly from the ball. but that is rare and do not know what makes that occur.

They've introduced that since they gave points for first catch. Really am hoping it will shift to that speed with the next update. Waiting 30 seconds for 100 stardust is too much.

You think that's bad, I actually have to walk a few KM to make this game worthwhile. Talk about a drag man!

i hate my life while playin pokemon which should be opposite. its so stressful to wait for that long on every throw... There should be a skip option for evolve and catch animations

I totally understand, but I use the slow catch speed to "stop and smell the roses", take in the view, people watch.
I don't lucky egg anymore, so evolving is something done while doing other things, like reading the news, eating, cleaning up, or watching TV.
