Android AR Mode

When the game came out I was interested because of AR mode. I am an Android guy so I am not interested in getting a over priced Apple phone. Is there a reason why Android cannot use the feature of AR mode like the iphone?

I have an iPhone and I turn off the AR mode. (saves battery life)

It works on both operating systems, as long as your phone has a gyroscope.

Android phone can use the AR mode you just need a decent Android phone and not a cheap knock off or outdated one.

Camera and gyroscope is all the hardware needs and you will have AR
