Oh God, that is horrible. this is why they need a feature where you can re-roll your pokemon's moveset

Wut? Just give us water/fire/thunder stone, in the original games it should not be hard to find, it can be buy at the store

As much as I would like this to happen, It doesn't appear to be a smart financial investment from niantic's perespective. It would make acquiring a high iv mon more of a priority than obtaining one with decent/mediocre ivs with the ideal moveset. Although it could be balanced (theoretically) if it was an obtainable item from pokestops with a LOWER PROBABILITY OF OBTAINING THAN EVO ITEMS. But then again I could see people complaining about not getting it often..

While i agree that we should be able to reroll movesets, VS/DC isn't a bad moveset at all.

Try to use them and you will see it can kill a Gxarados before it uses Hydropump.

Best defensive moveset on a glass cannon-like defender.
At least, attacker will be hurt badly in a short and bloody fight.

Volt switch is unusable. So slow it makes dodging nearly impossible.

Actually folks seem to like this combo for attacking. The concept is that you can off a gyarados by tanking its quick move and killing it before it ever fires a charge move. It works. Discharge deals.

But now that it's out that you are a cheater, who cares what moveset you got. Why don't you just figure out a way to cheat change the moveset? It's laughable when people say "they have to cheat" because the game is bad otherwise, then complain about their 100% pokemon. Snort.

You had two 100% Eevees... why didn't you evolve at least one of them into Espeon? I'd take at least one guaranteed Espeon evolution rather than a 1/3 chance of getting the only really useful gen 1 eeveelution (Vaporeon).

2/15 - I love my hydro pump and aqua tail vapes equally. :3

Love your multiple 100% Eevees... would you care to show us your Eevee pokedex page showing that you have caught several tens of thousand Eevees, or would the relatively lower numbers perhaps indicate something more sinister at work?

I have caught about 500 Eevees, and yes, i use a tracker. Everybody does it. However, I would never spoof.

Up

All of a sudden I feel much less sympathetic about your unlucky evolutions...

(FWIW I've never spoofed, nor have I ever used a tracker.)

no reasonable trackers even cover my region I have caught ~1200 eevees and highest was 95% and i have to compete in gyms against cheaters all the time. (nintec really has to learn to treat regional players better all round)

This being the case, just catch another few, or more, perfect Eevees. No big deal for you, and I see no reason why you should be complaining about a duo of failed movesets when you have an abundant choice of collecting high IV mons.

Really everybody?
No, I'm not and never did. Thanks for making a wild guess.
I've caught just over 700 Eevee so far and although I never got one with 100% IV, I'm feeling proud about the few ones who are over 90% (9 by now). There is no excuse for cheating and as soon as you put your 3rd-party-tracked (ergo cheated) Pokémon into gyms, you're causing a negative impact into the game and other players who do not cheat.

Just to clarify this.

Out of curiosity, does the tracker let you know the IV of the Pokemon that you are tracking?

Now. The three most frustrating parts of the game:
1. Evolution failures;
2. Wild Dragonite/Snorlax/... flee;
3. Bad hatches

They really, really, really need to work on the first one.

IDK, it's part of the game, IMO - guaranteed evolutions AND moveset re-rolls AND perfect hatches AND no-flee Snorlax etc would just guarantee that nobody would have anything rare. Would be too boring... an RNG game with no RNG, lol...

Blame the gym system - all it looks for is DPS, nothing more.
In the main series, you have guaranteed move sets. But it's not just about which move has the strongest power, it's about many other things like status, abilities and your strategy.
I never say we should have "perfect iv hatches" but more useful species, not some trash no one wants.
As for the flee, again, you could still fail to catch it if you run out of balls. But not some "one-throw then run away" disappointment after you run like hell to the spot for several minutes.

Regarding point 1, although it is incredibly frustrating, I can live with bad luck causing my evolved Pokemon to have shitty moves.

However, if Niantic is going to regularly make changes to moves and make "re-balancing" updates, they really should introduce ways for us to re-roll moves. The inflexibility in this game is at a point that makes no fucking sense.

Yeah, I hate it when my assets become liabilities all because of bad moves and we can't do anything about it

If they do, these ways shouldn't cost coins. Otherwise, it could even be additional motivation for them to make move changes.

Wayyy before I knew about Gen2, I got 2 100% Eevee - had already used the Gen1 name trick - and ended up with 2 flareons with Heat Wave... My highest right now is a 96% and I'm holding out for more before getting a guaranteed Espeon (I'd even take a break from walking Chansey for that..)

Up

Down

Okay guys, i didn't do the guaranteed Espeon-evolution since I already have a 100 IV with C/FS. I dont really want another jolteon as i have a 100 IV with TS/T. I was looking for a vaporeon (HP or AT) or flareon (FS/OH).

So you have at least 4 100% Eevees. What are the chances of that? Please show us your Eevee pokedex page and we will see if the odds stack up.

I remember I bombed on a perfect Flareon w Heatwave. Just nasty.

Why don't you just spoof another 100% IV eevee and try again? Doesn't seem to be problem for you.

Up

Down

I don't see how different between spoofer and tracker even though you use only one of them or both you still be a cheater. Why don't you cheating to the max then? botting also maybe.

Up

Be sure to keep both, I could only imagine them being valuable in the future when (if) new game features are introduced (breeding, trading, TMs, etc).

I also have two perfect 100% Jolteons with Discharge. So disappointing.

Wow, so much self-righteous indignation about people using trackers...I almost thought I was on Silph Road for a second.

Yeah that's bad but.. I have a 97% with a good moveset.. the best charge attack and ... well.. is not THAT good.. I mean I use against Gyarados which should be deadly and ... is not that much powerful as it should... for exmaple Solar Beam is SUPER OVER POWERED attack. and not so Thunder, it should be a little better since we need more electric type good attacks.

I got also 4-5 last evolution of Gyarados, Steellix, Scizor, Magneton, etc with SUCKS moveset.. ruined my 88+% IV of those pokemons.

Tho I have a Vap with WG/HB 95% but 800CP and 91% Hera with C/CC with 990CP. I think I will spend A LOT of dust but in the end low CP pokemon have the best moveset.. the rest you caught wild either is bad moveset or low IV. All my TOP pokemon came from 800dust so they were LOW but good moveset.

Cheer up. It's like having a 4th discharge bar :)
