Am I ready for a Zam solo?

The team:
MewTwo CP3831 LV37.5/15ATK/15DEF/14STA Psycho Cut/Shadow Ball
Gengar CP2236 LV30/14ATK/15DEF/15STA Hex/Shadow Ball
Tyranitar CP3302 LV34/12ATK/14DEF/14STA Bite/Crunch
Tyranitar CP3131 LV30/15ATK/15DEF/13STA Bite/Crunch
Scizor CP2441 LV30/PerfectIVs Fury Cutter/X-Scissor

And, no obvious winner for the sixth slot. Options are:
- A L30, 98% Bite/Stone Edge Tyranitar
- A L25, 73% Bite/Crunch Tyranitar
- A L28, 91% Bite/Crunch Gyarados
- A L29, 91% Feint Attack/Foul Play Sneasel
- A L35, 71% Snarl/Foul Play Umbreon

So I've progressively added changes to the raid solo guide (Alakazam specifically since it is a hard solo) to give more concrete recommendations that should clearly answer whether or not your team is ready.

First, the guide strongly discourages use of Pokemon that are not specifically listed counters (Using any Pokemon not one of the counters listed below is ill-advised). So disregard Gyarados, Sneasel, and Umbreon completely. You shouldn't even be thinking about them. SE Tyranitar is also not listed as a viable moveset, so that is also out of the running.

Second, the guide specifically suggests level ranges at which counters become viable. So that L30 Scizor isn't going to cut it, either.

Your Mewtwo is going to have to carry your team. You'll probably be fine as long as Mewtwo maximizes its damage output.

I'd say your team is marginal! I tried recently in rainy weather, because the guide suggests this is helpful. Problem is my Scizor and Pinsir are too low level (35 and 30) to be helpful, even with rain. I have many Tyranitars, but the 'zam I faced had Focus Blast which was destroying them. I tried throwing in a Kyogre due to the weather boost but I still didn't make it, not even close actually.

It is not possible to dodge Focus Blast with a Tyranitar, is it? Because it would KO you if you did not dodge. My understanding is that these days, it is impossible to dodge any move that would KO you if you did not dodge.

The dodge glitch is not new, it's more than a year old. And it has never affected solo raids much if your connection is good. There are dozens of videos of people soloing C/FB Zam with Tyranitars in the team and they are all able to successfully dodge FB.

The first time I soloed Alakazam (the boss had the C/FS moveset), I had two L30 B/SE T-tars in there, along with two B/C T-tars, a L33 H/SB Gengar, and a Scizor that never got used. No dodging. It was a very close fight and took four attempts, but suffice it to say that having B/SE T-tars didn't prevent me from getting it done. So, your L30 98% B/SE T-tar will be fine as #6. Or, you could power up the L25 B/C T-tar to its final breakpoint for bite, which is somewhere around L27, depending on the attack IV.

Alakazam's difficulty varies a lot by moveset. You should be able to easily handle PC/FS, and squeak by C/FS, with no dodging. PC/SB should be no problem, and the only dodging I'd recommend is dodging SB with the Mewtwo. Against PC/FB, you'll need to dodge FB with the T-tars, but you should be able to beat the boss. You might want to dodge a few FB's with the other mons, but be careful of too much dodging, which will hurt your time to win. More Gengars would be helpful in place of at least the B/SE T-tars.

C/FB and C/SB are tougher, so I'd try to knock off a few of the other movesets first. Good luck.

Below is my team that successfully defeated C/FS the first time.
