Alakazam sucks vs Blissey?

I fought a Blissey (26xx) today with an Alakazam at Level 30 and it flat out sucked. Psycho Cut/Future sight finished it with 20 seconds left. That is slower than Flareon, Ttar, Moltres, Dragonite, Machamp, Gyarados....etc

Is it due to the low damage of Psycho Cut and the 'low level' Alakazam at L30 being insufficient to hit a maximum breakpoint, or has anyone tried the same setup and found similar results?

Had no option-it was a DG, had to dodge every DG otherwise I couldn't even finish the fight.

Into Blissey and Snorlax you want to have Focus Blast.

It makes all the difference.

If it a Blissey with double psychic moves, or Snorlax with ZH, then you will walk it in.

Aa mentioned, you need Focus Blast.

I used to use a PC/FB Zam on Blissey all the time...if you dodge all her moves, I think Zh only does 1 damage...Not as fast as Machamp, but "potion efficient" when that was a thing and when gyms were a thing...I have lots of Machamps now so it seems pointless to use Zam for me, but maybe not for others...

Still dodge bug to worry about though so at the end, it was just easier to spam Eggs or Machamp...

Now, I tend to sweep gyms with Machamp constantly due to Blissey, Snorlax, etc...

only effective attack works, in my area all blissey are around 3000 cp, and their trainer restore the motivation when it gets low, solo is not wise at all
