So if double rock Golem is a viable attacker, would that mean double rock Ttar is also viable or am I missing a weakness??

There's no reason it wouldn't be. They probably haven't updated the counters list yet.

Correct, no moves Aero has are more effective vs Ttar than they are Golem. His steel moves are super effective vs both

He resist Bite, small bonus :)

Rest is like for Golem.

Golem is rock&ground type, so Aerodactyl's ancient-power is not very effective. Golem is in this case a better counter.

Eh, depends on how you define better. DPS/TDO shows Tyranitar having 3 points higher DPS and 8 points TDO less than Golem against Bite/Ancient Power. Against Steel Wing/Ancient Power TDO is practically identical while Tyranitar still has its DPS advantage. I guess Tyranitar is bulky enough to compensate a lack of resistance.
