Adventure Sync benefit.
Looking over the adventure sync rewards, it seems to me that the way to play it is to go for the 50km rewards (duh, they are cumulative), but to take advantage of the purple eggs. If you make 50K, you get 20 red and 10 blue balls, as well as 5 ultra and 1500 dust, and picks from :
1) 10K Egg
2) 5k Egg
3) 1500 Dust
4) 3 Rare Candy
On the face of it, it seems to me that at Monday at 9:00 AM local time, everyone should have an egg space open, on the off chance that you get a 10k egg. In fact, this seems like a much more reliable way to get 10K eggs. As a free player, I've been ignoring eggs for the most part, collecting Meowths from far away places for distance trades. This looks like a good deal, and I think I'll be incubating a 2k egg every weekend to have a hole at 9:00 AM Monday morning.

The first thing I read said you got two things from the list, but it wasn't clear if you could get a 5k and 10k egg together, looked like one or the other. Also a distinct possibility that the eggs will be weighted towards the flavor of the month, which can change with Niantic's whims. Still, I'm going to pursue this avenue, tired of purging 5k eggs and getting non-meta relevant stuff 95% of the time.
That's what I thought until I got 2 5km eggs this morning, I'd much rather have taken the dust or RC. Almost tempted to keep my slots full in the future, even though getting a Riolu is probably much more likely than when spinning a random egg from a stop. But at least RC or dust is guaranteed value for me.
