Additional Requirements
Hey, guys. So, earlier today, I finally experienced some rainy weather, and was happily able to find and catch a couple of Mudkip around my area. The rainy weather also made a Feebas appear on nearby, which I was able to get, too. The interesting thing about Feebas, though, is the additional requirement needed to evolve it to Milotic, which is walking it for 20km before you can even use 100 candies to get Milotic. I think this is a really cool aspect of evolution, and could add an extra layer of challenge to evolving Pokémon to make it more meaningful and rewarding. Do you think something like walking Pokémon a required number of kms in order to evolve Pokémon would be a nice addition to Pokémon Go, or is this a special case solely intended for Feebas, kind of like how you need 400 candies to evolve Magikarp to Gyarados?
(P.S- Currently experiencing fog weather for the very first time, which was the only weather condition I haven't seen in the game prior to today. So, I've finally experienced all weathers!) :)

They can make the more common Pokémon be required to walk a small number of kms (at least 3 km), while the more rare Pokémon with evolutions should be required to walk a much larger number of kms (maybe more than 20 km). That way, it won't be so easy obtaining Pokémon like Dragonite/Tyranitar/etc., or any Pokémon, for that matter. But, raids already do that, so maybe it won't work.

Ruby/Sapphire had special non-combat contests. One of the contest conditions was beauty.
Feebas is an ugly fish, but when its beauty condition is raised to a certain amount it is able to evolve into the beautiful Milotic.
Walking with a buddy in Go is a good way to simulate the friendship requirements for Espeon and Umbreon. Not nearly as good for beauty, but meh.
Caught my 2nd one just now, riding bike and appeared. Not rainy today. Yesterday was rainy and caught 200cp 15a/14/13s level 35. I only have like 45 rare candies in my bag...earned 20+ today...I had thought of putting crap load RCs into it if I had it...guess I'll let this release event to cease to see--since 2 in two days. Now dratinis are nonexistent here--maybe these will appear like drats used to
