Is this acceptable?
My trainer is 26 and I have walked around 400km hatching more than 90 eggs. But I have NOT gained any gym defenders of Tier 1 to 3.5 and gym attackers of Tier 1 to 1.5 except for Exeggutor. Is this acceptable or I had bad luck？ I do hope something would surprise me on the following Easter Day event.

I've catched enough Magikarp to evolve into TWO Gyarados (I powered up the best one all the way) during the event. If you got tired of catching them, it's quite possible that this game is not for you. Personally, I would still be looking for them, and I'm sad the event is over. It was a good way to get decent high level pokemons easily. Current CP situation is all about max CP, so Gyarados still fit the bill.
You're the same guy waiting for a perfect magikarp. So, I think perfection requires patience. Personally, I sometimes evolve stuff to have it to play with. For example , l'm evolving 70% chinchou to get a CB/TB lanturn as soon as l can. Also, I don't remember what top tier mons I had at lvl 26, but it was a lot fewer than I have half way through lvl 33. The levels aren't linear.
