Absol is way too weak as a tier 4

No real news. If you are 2 players on + 35 you can start up a third account. play 2-3 days. Get a couple of machamps. after that you can trio all 4 tier 4 bosses; tyranitar, golem, aggron and absol.

Tier 4 is not hard.

I don't see that as a bad thing at all. I recently did an Absol raid with one other person that didnt even have a good Machamp team. She was using stuff like Donphan Pinsir and Ursaring and it was awesome not to have to call or wait on a 3rd person.

They aren't really giving anything away with Absol, maybe a little fog in the morning can get you a boosted one. Tyranitar is a different story, just did a early foggy one got a 2586 already with crunch. A lot more boosted opportunities with partly cloudy.

There have been legends that have also been possible with just two or three players. I think it is a good thing that there are occasional options for small groups. Having one of the T4 raids be a pokemon that is possible for two high level players is fine and good.

Would you rather absol not be a raid boss as that's the only other option

Absol is an easy duo...only if you use the right counters. Have duoed with 65s left with L35 and below suboptimal (close combat on some) champ and hari) fighting teams for both trainers.

Have failed duo when the other person (though L35+ trainer) simply went auto select (ttar because absol had dark pulse).

So, easy...yes but not automatic even for high level trainers who don’t use their best.

In cloudy weather i have taken Absol down to the red solo. I knew a handful of people were on the way so I decided to jump in and see.

Even if all my machamp were 100% i still dont believe i would have been able to solo it. Ot was close, however it really wasnt *that* close.

Absol is tier 4 because you can't solo it.
Perhaps it is easy as a tier 4 because you can't catch it in the wild. Raids are the only way to get candies (and walking). I'm glad it only takes two people because I'm powering one up to use as a glass cannon.
