About those TM's

Not sure about the rest of you but when I use less than optimal Pokemon, a Ninetales instead of Flareon or Starmie for Vaporeon for example, when soloing a lvl 2 raid, the rewards seem a lot more, got a fast and charge in same lvl 2 raid.

Because the raid rewards are based on balls received it's not crazy that soloing easier raids will sometimes grant greater rewards than doing high level raids in groups. I cannot conceive Niantic coding something so foolish and complicated into their game.

I do plenty of tier 2 raids, and the rewards are nowhere near as good as tier4+

Of course not. But it's not unusual to have a run or set of tier 3 or even more rarely tier 2 raids that is very good comparatively with TMs especially if you're getting 12+ balls for solo raids and 6-8 at times in higher tier raids.

top of tier 3 is about same as middle of tier 4 rewards

so solo tier 3 in same gym (if the gym control reward is working that day) is easiest bang for buck alongside small group T5 (4-5 man on a moltress or zapo)
