about soloing lvl 3 raid bosses?
How the heck do you do it? I went against the the supposed to be easiest raid bosses arcanine and vaporeon lvl3 of course and they kicked my ass.
High ivs, perfect match ups, different strategies (never dodging, dodging just the charge move, maxed mons) nothing worked how people do it i may never know and maybe people here can tell me. Im lvl 37 by the way.

Maxed Rhydon MS/Se, a bunch of golems lvl 30 with all kinds of movesets and a bunch of omastars lvl 30 with all kinds of movesets as well and a maxed t rex.
For the vape a lvl 30 vena, a 100iv lvl 30 vena, a lvl30 vileplume, a bunch of zapdos lvl 20 and a victrebel lvl 28.
All of the mons with ideal movesets and 80+ iv.
im level 36 how the heck you got beaten by that mons. lol i can even solo it. arcanine i used 3 tyranitar, 3500+ cp and 2 3100+ cp. 1 vape with 3000 cp and 1 3000+ cp gyarados. and lastly 1 golem with 2600+ cp. DEFEATING ARCANINE AND DOMINATE IT. Soloing vape is easy i used 2 exegutor with confusion and solar beam with 2800 cp and the other one is 2400 cp. and the others are random fast move of exegutor with all charge move solar beam around 2400cp below tsk. and still vaporeon lol
Arcanine is harder than most as mentioned...Lag also has a lot to do with it so if you see Arcanine just sitting there with spinning ball, it's lagging meaning all the time is wasted.
I've never soloed Arcanine with like 3x 2600+ Golems, Maxed Dnite (39), Maxed Vap (39), etc...Get near 0 red health so I am close...
I just soloed my 1st Level 3 Machamp and it is satisfying. Used 1x C/SoB Eggs, 3x Espeons, 1x Dnite and anchored with Lugia (never used)...had like 20+ secs...Prob lag was minimal that battle since I failed earlier using a Gengar H/SB, 4x Espeons and Lugia again I think...
It's very misleading that Gamepress writes "Soloable" for Arcanine but "Potentially Soloable" for the others. Arcanine is no slouch. I have some great counters, over level 30. But it takes me multiple attempts each time to do it, and if he has Wild Charge I fail because I rely on two gyaradoses to round out my team.
In my experience Gengar is the easiest because he's vulneeable to ground, dark, and psychic, which gives you a lot of type counters to work with.
So you fight with a level 29 player team (and a Rhydon that is a tank not a supreme counter).
The answer is that we piwer up our solo raid teams at least to quick move breakpoint, if not evenmore for survaiving longer.
P.s. Basically you hit a lot below your weight. Ypur mon don't reflect at all your level.
Yes, this is totally true. I'm level 34, and can only solo Machamp if he has CC, with a fairly maxed out team.
D'nite 31 and 35.5, both with DT/O, Espeon 35.5 ZH/FS, Eggy 35.5 ZH/SB, Eggy 31 ES/Psychic, Gyarados DT/HP (for BP/HS Machamps, resists steel), playing around with Crobat with Air attacks (the 2xStrong to Fight should help, once I know the moveset of Machamp, want to try Gengar, but my only good one has SP/FB, Snorlax killer, but not so great on Champ because of resistance to dark.) My 'Zams are no good, but I have a candidate to evolve, lvl29, strong stats, so for a little stardust I can get a 31 if the moveset is good.
Looking to get a new phone soon, that should help more than upping mons. And lag is a killer. Trying to get a charged attack off when the bar looks full but is really not can kill you, and keeping the QAs going when the one bar is full to make sure it's full is a waste.
In short, not all of the game is about how good you are or how good your mons are. And that's kind of disappointing, but that's what it is.
