6+ gym strategy decay.

Simple question about the strategy and preferred Pokémon. What is the maximum CP before you hit fast CP drop rate? Is it 1700, 2200 or under 3200? I’m aware there are different strategies but am a little unsure about the max preferred CP for longevity.

Blissey+GRB will last the longest.

Otherwise it doesn't really matter.

This has nothing to do with what he asked. Please keep your boring cynicism in check boy.

The CP decay rate is the same for all pokemon above roughly 2300 cp. Below that the rate goes down until about 500 cp if I remember correctly. The optimal for very low turnover gyms is below 1500 cp according to some calculations I've seen.

For high turnover gyms, stick to Blisseys, Chanseys and Snorlaxes as big as you can get them and stick Gardevoirs and other Machamp walls in between. For low turnover, level 20-30 Wobbuffet and Chansey, L20 Steelix, L30 Azumarill are some very good choices. Research Chansey evolved into Blissey also ends up at quite a good CP for long-term defense.

Rate of CP decay is -10% per hour for CP > 2320.
