500 Egg 10K Tally
I finally got my gold egg hatching medal today. Since the start, I've been keeping a tally of my 10K eggs, so I thought I'd take stock of what I've received:
Total 10K eggs: 54 out of 508 eggs received, making my percentage a little over 10%
Pre-Gen 2, Total: 19
Great (3): Lapras x2, Chansey
Decent (3): Aerodactyl, Kabuto, Omanyte
Meh (5): Onix x2, Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, Scyther
Terrible (8): Pinsir x2, Magmar, Electabuzz, Jynx, Smoochem, Magby, Eevee
Pre-Gen 2 my hatches were fairly awful. No Dratini, no Snorlax. Lapras was really my only decent Pokemon... then he was nerfed. :p
Post-Gen 2, Total: 35
Great (17): Chansey x5, Dratini x 6, Larvitar x4, Lapras x 2
Decent (4): Mareep x4
Meh (3): Pineco x2, Skarmory
Terrible (11): Mantine x4, Sudowoodo x5, Gligar x2
Post-Gen 2 my hatches definitely improved. But it also became kind of all or nothing - great or curse loudly. Also still waiting for my first Snorlax to hatch (though I have caught four wild ones).
But it's been a fun 500 - interesting to see what the next 500 will bring (can't wait to hatch a Beldum)!

Yup - at one point after Halloween I went about 6-8 weeks without a single one. Always been hard to get for me.
There was one Pokestop near me which seemed to have a slightly higher rate of good Pokemon - probably got 5-6 10K from it, including a Dratini and a Chansey. But other than that, I got a ton of 5K crap.
Did also seem to have better luck when I traveled.
Eevee is as common as Pidgey in my area - have over 2000 candies right now
I use Cloyster for Dragonite
Never used Pinsir - mine all have double Fighting moves. Always used Flareon for Eggs.
I wish Skarmory would be useful, but not in this meta
Have two good Jolteons and while I'd like an Amph he's just a Pokedex entry to me.
The commonality of Eevee in my area colors a lot of my ratings.

I didn't keep track but i just hit 500 not too long ago ...
I have cracked from 10k eggs
2 Snorlax
3 Lapras
2 Chansey
A lot of dratini and Larvitar ... couldn't say how many .... all other ones don't really matter.
Was super happy with my first Snorlax ... went a long time with out one but every time a 10k egg would hatch I thought this could be it! ... then I just sort of gave up on it and out pops a 44/45 IV Snorlax!:)
