First batch of 9 I got 3, second batch I got 2. Seems good so far. What came out of them is a different story.
3 mantines, dratini, militank.

The 10k egg pool is quite large now, 10ks shouldnt be too rare.

Every so often I come across a post stating increased drop rate of 10k eggs and I feel the most unfortunate player. Nothing changed for me. 10k are rare, I get 1 every 3-6 weeks. Sometimes 2-3 in 2 days and then again wait 1-2 months until getting the next

I got all 4 of my most recent, inc the 3 in a row, all from stops I always use.

P.S Dratini not a bad thing to get from 10k :)

P.P.S I had a real dry spell for 10ks eggs for ages, then wham, 3 in a row, so don't be too disheartened. I must mention that I had not bought any incubators for ages, and I bought 8 to get rid of all 5k eggs to make way for gen 2 hatches. I hatched all 8 5k at the same time and only had 1 left in incubation. This left space to pickup 8 more eggs and was when I got 3 10ks in a row. Perhaps try the same :)

There are very very few stops around here so I fill up and go home to hatch them. I have zero luck at some stops and fantastic luck at others. One particular stop has given 8 chanseys since playing , but a small cluster of stops that I used to go to never gave me anything good. Mostly krabbys.

I think the entire concept of there being a 2km/5km/10km drop rate is misleading. People seem to think there's one RNG to determine whether you get a 2/5/10km egg, and then a second RNG to determine which thing from the respective pool you get. I'm pretty sure there's just one distribution for how likely you are to get a given Pokemon from a stop, and then the chart determines how long you have to walk it before it's revealed/how much candy you get.

There's a very good article on reddit, I just can't find it....

Drop rate depends of how many stop the trainer is spinning. For instance I spin hundreds of stops a day, another trainer can only spin 5 a day and never see a 10K egg meanwhile I see 3 because I'm spinning and hatching more.

I would say this is less about how many stops are spun, and more about how many eggs are hatched. Spinning lots of stops while you have no space for eggs to go doesn't help.
