10cp Abra for "Bubblestrat"

I have a 10cp Abra that is a wonder. Haven't powered him up yet. I noticed that evolved versions have higher potential prestige in gyms. If I evolve it, will the cp change?
Or should I keep it as an Abra and power him up to see?

The CP will change, just like with any evolution.

Its cp will change. Typically, its CP will increase to around 15 CP as Kadabra. Whether you want to evolve it or not will depend on its matchup. If your abra can knock out your bubblestrat defender, don't evolve it.
