"My time could be better spent surfing the net." Yes, we know. Posting about how horrible Pokemon GO is. It's clear that you think doing that is one of the best possible uses of your time. But most of us here think that reading your posts isn't the best possible use of our time, and we're not going to do that anymore. Toodles.
The quest for Celebi was a huge disappointment. Everything was trivial, but they prolonged it artificially, stipulating a number of days. Even the most lazy player could complete that quest as fast as the most dedicated one. This time is different. 108 berries can be completed in an hour, or it could take days - it depends on your commitment. Eight unvisited pokestops is even better - it forces players to leave their routine path and visit new areas. And again, it can be done in short time or take forever. My personal opinion: They should have kept true to the theme and asked for 108 unvisited pokestops. I hope for something truly challenging for the last set. Maybe 108 excellent throws?

This is not at all true. Optimal speed (disregarding timezone magic), required you to first hatch 9 eggs, then walk an eevee 10 km (could have 4km prewalked before starting the phase), evolve it to Espeon, then find somebody to trade, walk another Eevee 10 km and evolve it to Umbreon, all in one day so you could get the last daily catch of step 2 and the first daily spin of step 6 during the same day. A lazy player would take several days to a week or two to get all this done.
I like the 108 excellents idea. Would finally have something challenging to work on, although I have to say I enjoyed optimizing the aforementioned middle part of the Celebi questline.
