Is there good reason to power up Level 20-ish 100% pokemon that are outside of the usual attack group, i.e. they're not Dnite or Ttars etc.? I've got a bunch of them that are sitting at level 20 or so, but have what I think are better alternatives that are already powered up. For example, I've got a 100% Poliwrath at level 20 with Mudshot/Submission, a potential fighter (with a couple TM's), but already have 3 93%+ Machamps at Level 35. Or, I've got two Charizards (Fire Spin/Dragon Claw and Air Slash/Fire Blast), but I have a 98% Entei with FS/O at level 31 and have a level 20 87% Moltres with FS/O that is sitting on 75 candies awaiting a reason to power up.

Other 100's at level 20 include Nidoking, Ninetails, Magnetron, Seadra, Arcanine, Misdreavus, Venusaur and Exeggutor (extrasensory/psychic).

The only 100's that I have powered up are three Gary's, a B/C, a DT/O, and a WF/HP, each to Level 35.

I have plenty of candy to power them all up, but don't know whether any are worth the dust investment. Are there future legendaries for which any of these might be useful?

No.

They're Trophies right now. I'm super-jealous of you (my 100% are 2 Ratatta, Beedril, Azumaril, Dugtrio, Marowak and a Machamp) but unless the Pokémon is meta-relevant, I'm not powering it up. And likely never will; I'd LOVE to have my Beedril at Level 40, but that would just be for my own gratification. I'd probably never use it outside of tossing it into a Gym as a SubtleBrag.

I'd hold off the time being. Only exception would possibly be the Exeggutor, and then really only if you don't already have one developed.

Don't throw them away certainly. A couple (Magneton and Misdreavous) evolve further in gen 4 so could become relevant in the meta later on.

Thank you. Weather boosts have made it easier to get serviceable high level Exeggcutes without having to spend dust. I've got a forest of Exeggutors including a level 35/84% E/Solarbeam, a level 30/84% C/Solarbeam and a level 25/89% E/P, plus several others with second tier IVs at level 30+ with Seed Bomb.

Didn't realize that there were gen 4 evolutions of the M&M's.

This is a tough question to answer. I have a perfect IV L20 Machamp that most people wouldn't hestitate to power up. But since I already maxed out another perfect IV, a 98% and a 93%, I am hestitate to spend hundreds of dust to max out another one.

One can't get too many machamps. IMO if you don't have a dozen of DP L33+ ones it make sense to power up another perfect. At least later if you're low on stardust now.

Id hang on to them for now and forget them. Right now the game is way too centered on having multiple copies of the strongest attackers for each type.

Who knows, maybe one day they will rebalance the game and limit the use of multiples, in which case your Poliwrath would be right at home in a Machamp, Breloom, Hariyama, Blaziken, Heracross Fighting team

Out of what you've listed, only exeggutor really stands out to me as something you should potentially max, but only if you have the TMs to change it to BS/SB. Exeggutor is arguably the best grass attacker, although you might want to hold off due to grass not being very relevant for raids right now.

It's not just that the mon are suboptimal; but the movesets are too. None of them are worth a both a TM and a power up. If that Venus has SoB, I might consider him; but I wouldn't TM him either.

I have a few like that that I maxxed out a while ago, I have a maxxed perfect Charizard and another maxxed perfect Arcanine which are slightly useful, and then others like Venomoth, Victreebel, and Primeape (actually I do use Primeape sometimes as a fourth fighter because his CP is up to 2000). I have to say I like putting my Venomoth in gyms to show it off. I also think it is fun to use different pokemon than the norm, so I don't usually power up more than two of any particular mon.

But like some others said a perfect Exeggutor would really come in handy I think, I am surprised you haven't already powered that up (although I don't know what else you have going on.)
