100% Lucky Beldum

Hey guys,

So I got a 100% beldum from trading, but unfortunely it was past the hour to evolve... Things is a great part of my community is a bunch of spoofers, it's a regular thing here where I live, I don't know if for the rest of the world is and since the CD for japan got posponed I was thinking of asking to one of them to evolve my beldum and maybe other beldums shinies that I have

What do you guys think? Why shouldn't I ask for one of them to evolve my beldum since is such a good mon with meteor mash?

Don't be to harsh on me, I'm just a bit angry to have a 100% beldum and not being able to get meteor mash in it

EDIT: I just traded this 98% too, but also shiny... FAK

EDIT2: Thanks everyone for the advice, I decided not to spoof, fuck cheaters... I'll just have my 100&98Shiny keep in my storage for posterity I guess... I hope I don't regret it in the future hehe

I can understand your frustration, but I wouldn't spoof. In my oppinion nothing in game is worth spoofing for.

I'd just hold onto the luckies incase they ever re-add the ability to get the community day moves.

Thems the beans. I would evolve it and power it up. I wouldn’t recommend cheating (yup, that would be cheating), but if you are truly hell-bent on getting what you want, then whatever. You know the risks.

Forget about spoofing, dude, time for a road trip. Tokyo, here we come. It's just a plane ride away.

(Well, I can't go. But you can. Have fun, and eat some sushi for me.)

I would never give my account information to anyone else, let alone a spoofer. Evolving a 100% Beldum isn't even nearly worth the risk that you may lose your account entirely.

I would just save it. A rerun of some sort is almost inevitable, it's just a question of when (probably not in a while).

"almost inevitable"? I wouldn't bet on that. Given the huge performance increase granted by Meteor Mash, it could make sense to hoard a Beldum for that possibility. But I am not wasting storage space for every past CD pokémon because of some speculation. I'd rather enjoy playing right now.

I would bet on it. Where there's demand, there will eventually be supply. This is just business for Niantic.

I'm not advocating keeping everything. In my opinion Beldum is the only past CD mon worth saving for the possibility to get the move again.

"Where there's demand, there will eventually be supply."
Huh, no. Halloween Shadow Claw Gengar is an example. There might be *some* points asked by the community to which Niantic will answer favorably, but it is absolutely not a certainty for all of them.

Yeah sure, "they" could do it.

I admit it sucks having such a great pokémon missing out it's greatest move. What is your situation as far as MM Metagrosses are concerned? Do you have many? How good are they? Honestly if you already have a couple of fairly decent MM Metagrosses, it's not even worth it. Don't turn evil. A couple of IV points may grant you between 1% and 4% of DPS increase if you reach a breakpoint, or the ability to survive one more move or to launch one more, in very specific scenarios which may or may not be many. The benefit will not be met often. It's not worth your soul. Once you let yourself be taken over by the Dark Side, there is no turning back. It will have it's grasp on you forever.

Your pride of hard earned pokémon is a greater feeling than the satisfaction to obtain the best via cheating.

If you have candy to spare, evolving this one and giving it ZH/P is a good idea. It will serve you just as well as it has served other people before Beldum CD. Oh no, wait, it will serve you better since it's bloody perfect!!!

You sound like a spoofer, trying to justify it. Which is a typical spoofer.

You're going to do what you want to do...

If you do spoof, be aware of the risks. A ban. The spoofer stealing your account / trading some of your good Pokemon to himself. Etc...

If you're intent on spoofing for it, you're definitely better off learning to do it yourself - although I really wouldn't advocate for it. Spoofing trivializes the game and defeats the whole purpose of playing really. It's frustrating, but that's life sometimes. Hopefully you'll benefit from the more recent post noting the tiny difference in performance between an 11 attack and 15 attack Metagross.

Definitely something that Niantic needs to put on their priority list to fix. We all should be able to TM Beldum to it's move.

Two risks. 1-You get banned. 2-The spoofer deletes all your legendary Pokémon.

HM's when? These would be perfect candidates for them.

Congrats on your 2 beldums. Without MM unfortunately, no point evolving them...
