100% draco meteor shiny

Caught by me. With 4 minutes of the event left. A load of other people charged over but they were too late.

As a Pokemon fan i appreciate the value of catching rare Pokemon. So for today I take back my previous criticism of Pokemon Go (though not of Niantic) that I have posted many times here. Having an opportunity to catch something so rare Is what Pokemon is all about, and why I emerged from my retirement for this event.

It was a good event!

Congrats! Someone from my area also caught a 100% shiny.

I wonder how many in the world got one?

Odds of a 100% wild Pokemon are 4064 to 1. If the shiny odds are 20/1 (thats a wild guess) the odds of a 100% shiny are 81280 to 1.

Not many, though spoofers around my area likely caught all the 100% IVs and possibly shinies too. I was told by someone that there was a 100% IV beldum somewhere near a train station and that spoofers swarmed that area. I can only imagine the swarm this event stirred up, lol.

If you caught it by spoofing it doesn't count! XD

Anyway isn't the shiny RNG different for each player? So a shiny for one player might not be shiny for another.

That's why someone in my area didn't get a single shiny! While others got 10+

I don't know if they care if it counts or not, they'll probably be attacking or raiding with those.

Yeah, that's what I've heard about the shininess too, but since Niantic made the IVs be the same for high levels, now people can locate 100%s and of course the more 100%s they find, the more likely it is that they'll get 100% IV shiny.

One of Niantics many mistakes that. If IVs were random for everyone spoofing would be less worthwhile.

I don't care if spoofers care. The rest of us know they cheated ;)

I used to cheat at online chess (used a computer to help me) in my younger days. I quit cos I didn't get satisfaction from it, I had a inflated rating that wasn't mine. Cheating is unsatisfying.

I have been walking the city ever since I've started playing, didn't stop people from labeling me a spoofer for whatever reason that they won't tell me. Not to mention they scatter when they see me now. Only one girl apparently said hi to me, but I was too into the game that I just made way for her to go on a path and I kept going elsewhere. My dad told me she saluted me.

Yes, I met a player who pointed me at a shiny he got just there in the street. I thanked him but I found only three normal Dratini. So it seems determined by personal randomness. Indeed I did not get any either, of about 40 Dratini.

And you are wrong. A pokemon can be shiny for many trainers if you don't know.

It is independently determined for each player. So it is possible for the same spawn to be shiny for more than one player, but is increasingly more rare.

So u jumped out of retirement (once again) after you caught that. But during the event you were retired, so how did you even catch it?

He's filled with himself and trust me he has not retired, he's still playing. But i might be the one who will be retiring if the next community day was like today's (Errors and no sightings loop bug galore).

no one in my area had problems with glitches today.

Thats my first time I played since rayquazas first day. I guess I'll play the next event XD

Cheers! Got a shiny 100% too, but I didn't evolve it during the event (Draco Meteor isn't that good anyway).

Foolish mistake, it's a legacy move so a collectors item! Congrats on the 100% shiny though.

As a move Draco Meteor is a slightly quicker version of hyper beam. Outrage is not the very best 2 bar move (despite what people think) so I'm not sure if Draco Meteor is inferior.

So, you think it's more important that it's a collectors item than that it's the best of its species?

I caught a shiny lvl 35 98% too, which I evolved immediately though.

Already have a normal 100% dragonite with outrage (i've been lucky with dragons) don't need another ;)

and a wild 100% shiny dratini is just awesome to catch, only the second time i ever caught a wild 100% pokemon

Nothing special using a radar to catch a 100%. Chances are not 81280 to 1, but 20 to 1.

Shame some people are so jealous they cry radar for anyone who catches something good, even when they didn't use one.

Obviously this game is your life! Bless you, I'll continue my retirement while you keep spending money on lots of raids.

Any chance this guy can be forced into retirement from this forum?

Harry tipper 2 is a troll and claims he doesn't play the game any more but always gets 100 per cent Pokemon on the 1 day a month he plays, plus gets invited to ex raids
