100% dnite - keep meteor or tm outrage ?
as topic, i caught a 100% dratini and evolved it on community day, only other meteor dnite is a poor iv shiny. next best dt/o dnite i have is 96% with 14 attack then 89% with perfect attack. all 3 are lv.35 and no shortage of candy or dust.
i much prefer using outrage and i know there isn't much difference between these 'mons in real terms but it seems a shame to bench my 100% because of the move plus i want to level one to 40, yet you never know if a legacy move will be buffed or come in useful down the line. what would y'all do ?

I have the same situation. 100% DM dragonite from community day. It is my first and only dragonite and I have no intention to TM it. It is still very serviceable for attacking and raids, I use it a lot and don't feel that i'm missing anything because I had been playing the game without a dragonite for so long anyway. I maxed it out to 38 and have no regrets.
Eventually you'll want to power up all three. I have two strong ones from well before community day, 98% and 96%, and I've maxed them at 39, (mostly with candy from Community day), and will take them both straight to 40 when I hit level 38 in a month or so. Then I'll supplement them with a Rayquaza, eventually a Salamance, maybe a Latios, and that Gen 4 Ground dragon thing that's really boss.
To attack Latios with Solar Beam, best team is 6 maxed out Dragons of any Flying/Dragon type. Even my level 36 Mewtwo is 1 shot KOd by solar beam. Dragons can take two, as can Scizor (even though he's only competitive when it's rainy).
The right question to ask is not which one to power up, but which one to power up first.
Not trying to be mean, but you should have evolved another dratini during community day for DM. I dunno if you didn't have enough candy, but you could have hold the 100% dratini for later since we already knew Outrage was better than DM.
I guess at least this is a good lesson for next community days special moves.
In another thread someone put a very insightful comment:
1. You have still chance to get another 100% IV Dnite. I got mine out of an egg a few weeks ago, not from the community day.
2. You may never have the chance to have a 100% IV Dnite with DM. Niantic can buff DM or nerf Outrage, or make a dramatic change in their charge bar composition or move duration. And in any case, DM is just a very good move anyway.
