100% Ariados prestiger?

Well poison pretty much has nothing that is double weak to it, not yet at least. It could be general use or good against grass I suppose though (if they aren't secondary poison type)

Could be useful against all those pesky Meganium, Bellossom and Tangela you see in gyms ;-)

But still, you're right to keep it as a trophy that could potentially be useful in future!

When I was talking how cool it would be to have status conditions such as poisoning, I thought that even Ariados might have its use. Because I have the exact same Ariados, just a bit smaller CP-wise. Never tried it as a prestiger because for my area one needs them around 1000 CP.

Well... Infestation/Cross Poison is its best defensive moveset, but Ariados maxes out at 16xx CP so not a very smart investment for a defender.

I have a bunch of Ariados around that strong from evolution fodder, but I'm always surprised how poorly they work as prestigers. I use them against Exeggutors, or Espeons when they have shadow sneak, but they always somehow manage to get squashed the moment they appear. Maybe it's because I often team them up with throw-away junk, then they take a charge attack to the face before they've even been there long enough to let me dodge.
