1 Vaporeon in last 15 Eevolutions

My question is: what the fuck?

I really want to know too, i don't believe that the chances are the same for each eevolution.
My pokedex counts 4 Vaporeons, 11 Jolteons and 12 Flareons, i never got any on the wild, all evolved.

I am in almost the exact same situation. Also should mention that all my Vaps have water pulse... I need to use Starmies, Golducks and Blastoise's if I need a solid water attacker...

For me Vaporeon also about 2 times less common than others.

I think I got up to 30 Flareons while only having 2 Vaporeons and 3 Jolteons. Could NOT catch a break.

It evened out eventually though. I finally started transferring Vaporeons when I got to 40. Eevees everywhere.

Early on I was having the same issue. Now, I've evolved 65 Vaporeons, 63 Jolteons, and 63 Flareons. With less than 20 evolves there is a large amount of volatility. Hopefully you all will have more luck later on as well! :)

(I spent a lot of time at an Eevee nest near my house 2 migrations ago. Was able to get 18 or more an hour there.)

It's just "Survivor Bias".
In so many players, you can always find ones who have extreme un-uniform evolution outcomes (same for move set). Those will stand out to raise such question, while most others who get uniform outcomes won't.
To really test whether your hypothesis holds, you must either conduct a large data based experiment or rely on GamePress.

Heh, I just did 10 and got 1 Vap...I'm at 8/21/12 Vap/Jolt/Flare.

Sucks since I was hoping to get one I can powerup to put in gyms.

I had been pretty even between Vap, Jolt and Flare up until about 2 months ago when I stopped getting Vapes. Probably 20 or so without a single Vape. I also began thinking WTF. Then just 1 hour ago I needed a high CP mon to get higher up in a gym, so for grins I evolved a lvl 30 Eevee I had sitting around hoping for a Vape. Voila, a Vape. I was so desperate I even renamed it Rainer before evolving :). (And yes, had already used that trick way back)

Been there. I've had a few Vaps in a row lately.

Before having no idea about IV's I evolved my Mons with High CP...
I evolve (2) Vape, (2) Jolt and (2) Flare
As of now by wanting and waiting to have a High IV eevee for a Vape... Everytime I evolve a good IV eevee who comes out is always Flare and Jolt... I regret why did transfered my 2.2K+ Vape with 63.3 IV having 15 Attack... Wishing to have a Line-up with all 80+IV Mons... But till now I start missing my Vape...

Just evolved seven eevees and ended up with three vapes and four jolteons. For the first time in a long time, the high IV eevees actually didn't turn into flareons, but vapes. Got really lucky this time.

Eevees are everywhere in our area, so I'm still sitting on about 2,000 eevee candies with more vapes, flares, and jolts than I know what to do with.
