1 or 2 Tyranitar

My son gets his first Tyranitar from a raid (Level 20, 93IV). He has 90 candies. Should he power up his 1. one to Level 30 or evolve a 2. one with the help of special candies? So my question for (legandary-) raids: Better one at Level 30 or 2 at Level 20?

If it's got Stone Edge, power up the first. Crunch, maybe... how many rare candies you got?

His Tyranitar has Bite/StoneEdge and he has 90 rare candies too

Two 93 iv Tyranitars sound good. I did the same for my son. He won two in raids and I made a third. I used two of his TMs to give them all optimal moves

I would do two, it is not like he is going to win a raid himself or even be the MVP---just focus on making himself a stronger overall squad.

  1. Against Zapdos Ttar has the breakpoint for Bite at lvl 25.5 for 15 attack iv. Can you take 1 to that level and second at lvl 20?
  2. Is that hard to do another 1-2 Ttar raids the next day and get one lvl 20 from there?

I'm in a city and don't see many TTs around, it takes a lot convincing to talk people away from Legendary raids. Even then TTs are pretty tough to snag. 93% is great and worth any dust you put into them
