Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are right around the corner now. In fact, they drop just 10 days from this posting on November 18, 2022. With the hype rising and copies being sent out to retail outlets, it's basically inevitable that leaks are going to begin circulating through the community, revealing story beats, new Pokemon, and other information long before most of us can get our hands on the games. This can be exciting for many, and even enticing for media coverage sites like Gamepress to cover as soon as the information becomes available, so we want to make one fact very clear to our readers:
We will, in no way, be covering leaked information about Scarlet and Violet. Our only coverage will be information found within Pokemon Go, and official announcements from the Pokemon Company and/or Niantic. And while we will add Pokemon pages for the Paldea Pokedex ASAP, we will not make these pages available until after the games release. In this regard, you can rest assured that our coverage will remain spoiler free until November 18, when Scarlet and Violet drop internationally. On that note, we already have content planned to cover Scarlet and Violet and their potential impact on Pokemon Go, so keep an eye out in the coming weeks!
