Pokemon GO Invitational Tournament Starts Announced for August 16th

The official Pokemon website has announced a special invitation Pokemon GO event to be taking place at the Pokemon World Championships.

Taking place from August 16th to the 18th at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C, seven pre-selected players and one lucky spectator will be able to participate in this Great League, open format tournament. 

The list of participants are as follows:

• Shigeki Morimoto (Game Designer, Game Freak)

• UnlistedLeaf

• Strawburry17

• Yamada

• Poké AK

• PogoKieng

• One lucky fan!

There will be two commentators for the event as well, CybertronProductions and Trainer Tips.
