Global players are reporting that the Pokemon Spotlight Hour that was revealed at the start of the month is featuring the Rock/Ground Type Pokemon from Generation 1, Onix.
Onix evolves into the Steel/Ground type Steelix with a Metal Coat, which is a Pokemon that has niche uses in the Great League for PVP, in particular being viable in Silph Road's Rose Cup. On top of this, Onix and Steelix both have their shiny fomes currently available, meaning this may be a fantastic chance for players who need a good Steelix for PVP, or are actively hunting this particularly striking shiny Pokemon.
