Egg hatching biomes?

So I know that the biome in which you live play influenced the spawns and the hatches you get but since the launch of gen 2 this is getting to a ridiculous level for hatching...i live in a water biome near a little river...2 km eggs (of you get one) are goldeen most of the time. 5 km eggs end up being Staryu and Psyduck and for 10 km eggs I'm now at 7/9 Dratini since gen 2 came out, while the other two were Skorgla and Mareep. Just got my 10. 10km egg this morning. I'm not complaning about Dratinis since there is mostly crap in 10 km eggs, but a little more diversity in general would be nice. Anyone of you had similar experiences?

Honestly I have hatched over 40 10K eggs and have found a little more balance than you have I think. I have also hatched a boat load of dratini (about 10). But I have also hatched 4 Tyranitars, 2 Mareeps, a Skarmory, a few Chanseys, and a Lapras. All except the Dratini and the Skarmory are not possible to be discovered in my area. I think you have just had some tough RNG and it will turn around.

If not drowning in Dragonites isn't the worst way to go;)

I've been hatching the same exact Pokémon for the past few days (Staryu, Stantler, Mareep, Cubone, Ponyta and Geodude). There's one stop that gave me three 10km and when I hatched them all became Larvitar. Biomes definitely had an increased effect on hatches
I also went to another area and kept hatching Bulbasaur, Voltorb and Phanpy

Boy, I hope your story is true, if so it means that a quick trip to a different biome with an empty egg sack is a good way to influence what we hatch. I have a meeting next week downtown, and the parks along the river are a solid water biome, so I'm going to see if I can gather some Dratini eggs there.
